Week 73
My last week in Chile! The best week ever! This week I just soaked up everything! Every lesson, every street contact. especially Sunday. It was a super sweet and spiritual Sunday! I got to give my last testimony and wow it was hard for me, but I just felt so much love looking at all the people I love and have served with for so long. I am sad to leave but excited for the next part of my life!
Some highlights from this week! Ignacio got baptized and confirmed! The baptismal meeting was so spiritual and Ignacio shared his testimony at the end and he started crying! Afterward he said that the spirit was so strong during the whole entire baptismal service and it all exceeded his expectations! That is a lot coming from him because he is a very intelligent, calculated person, so the fact that the spirit was stronger and hit him harder than he thought was really special! Our friend Javiera saw us doing all the prep to get everything ready for Ignacios baptism and she asked us how the preparation works for being baptized because she wants to get baptized! A little miracle!! I'm so excited for her!! After the baptismal service the ward had made a surprise farewell with treats and they made a video with all the people I love and miss so much! I just felt an overwhelming sense of love! Thank you for everyone that sent me a little video, I could stop crying it was so special! I love you all and miss you all and can't wait to see you in a few days or weeks!
What I have learned from this year and a half of service is that God really does love us. And we need to constantly work on our relationship with him. This life time is to work and to grow and to get better. We shouldn't waist our efforts and precious time on things that really don't matter. What matters the most is God and people. God and people are the reason we are here. I know God will support us if we make him our priority! I am excited to go back to normal life and try so hard to make God my number one priority! I invite you all to reflect on Your priorities and see if God is number one. If not, get on your knees and make adjustments! God is waiting for you to put him first so he can bless you! You are his precious son or daughter! And if you can blessings will start pouring unto your life!! I know it's true because that's what I've lived for the past year and a half!! I love Jesus and he loves you!!
