Week 1 & 2
Week 1 and 2
Week one and two!!
I didn´t send an email for home mtc, but basically the gist of it was lots of zoom calls and hanging out with the fam. Saying goodbye at the airport wasn't as hard as I thought it was gonna be, probably because it was early in the morning. But i have felt it here in the CCM. I´ve only been here at the CCm for one week. Thats it one, and it feels like it's been a month, but at the same time it feels like its been 2 days. Time is crazy.
My district is amazing! We´ve had a lot of crazy spiritual experiences together. I know that our district is inspired and we were put together for a reason. We all feel like we are struggling, but we know we can find strength in each other and struggle together.
My companion is Hermana White and I love her so much! We work so well together and we have grown so close in only a week.
The food here isn't that bad, at least everything is new so it all tastes actually pretty good. I haven't got the promised stomach issues or the runs, but it's probably just a matter of time.
My classes are fun too! Im learning a lot and most days I go to bed with a headache, but it's good because that means I am learning. My Spanish teacher, Hermana pino is literally the cutest person ever. She puts up with 10 roughty 18 year olds and still manages to teach us some spanish. This week has been the hardest week of my life, but also the most inspirational week of my life. I have felt Godś love for me so purely. As we role play lessons, I've realized the messages I’m sharing with them, I need them too. A big theme throughout the week is faith. Faith in Jesus Christ and in the power he can bring into our lives. And to put that faith to work.
I got to go to the temple this week it was awesome! I love the temple!!
God loves you and he wants what is best for you. All he wants is for you to turn to him, and turn to Jesus! God is so good and I feel unfair that my life is this good, but I owe it all to God!!
Favorite scripture of the week:
Mosiah 5:15
Therefore, I would that ye should be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in good works, that Christ, the Lord God Omnipotent, may seal you his, that you may be brought to heaven, that ye may have everlasting salvation and eternal life, through the wisdom, and power, and justice, and mercy of him who created all things, in heaven and in earth, who is God above all. Amen.
