Week 31

Transfers!!

I want to share an experience that i had durring a lesson this week. We had a lesson with our friend Carolina and she speaks english, so we got to teach her in english. And at the end she told us “thank you for loving me and not judging me for my appearance and thank you for really listening to me and not trying to change me but giving me the opportunity to grow.” And when she was saying this to us, i could imagine the savior standing behind us and Carolina was really giving thanks to Christ. Because he really is the one who helps us grow into oir potential. It was a really special experience for me!

This week we got transfer news!! I'm going to Placilla to an area that was Elders before! And I'm training! There's so many emotions but I am so excited to get to know this new area with my bread new companion! I am so excited and I know so many good things are waiting! I already know this transfer is gonna go by so fast!

This Sunday I got to bear my testimony to say bye to the Limache ward and I didn't really have any idea what I was gonna share. But I shared that we are all sons and daughters of an all powerful God. And when we really start to understand what that means, everything becomes different. We live and treat others differently. We want to follow and do God's will. And we have a potential that is divine. We really have a part of us that makes it possible to overcome this world. And that part is Jesus. Jesus did it all.

A member shared a story with me where the government framed him for something he didn't do and they charged him a bunch of money. And there was nothing he could do to fight it or reverse it. But he understood his identity as a son of God and put all his trust in him and started paying the fine monthly. And since that has happened he's said that the phone doesn't stop ringing with job opportunities. And he said I don't believe in God, I trust in God. Because I understand who God is and who I am and who I can become through God and Jesus.I just love being a missionary and living through the “hard” parts of the mission. Because the hard parts are gonna be the easy parts when I get home and have to face the real world. But the mission really does teach you a lot. I don't have much time to write, but I am so lucky to see and live God's miracles here in Chile! And I know that there are miracles happening where you guys are at too. It's just our choice to see and participate in them!

I love you guys a ton!

And God loves you!
