Week 35

 Another awesome week!

This week we found a lot more people and we put 2 baptism dates with 2 of our friends! But our friend Fransisca we found out is living with her partner and isaias wants to be baptized in May. So we still put the baptism date in May and we're gonna have to work a lot harder with fransisca. But this week we saw a ton of little miracles! For example last night, we were walking in the street and a lady came up to us and told us that she has a lot of problems in her life, but she wants to go to our church and receive our messages and she has 2 twin boys that are 8 years old. She said all of that without us saying anything it was crazy! So we're gonna start teaching her and her boys.
On Friday 2 our district leaders came to our area for a few hours and helped us find more people. They went to the more dangerous areas and ended up finding a lot of people with interest! So now we're gonna try to get to know all of them this week! I'm excited and hope that really we can help them learn and come to church!

This week I really felt strongly the importance of the Sacrament. It's really a necessary ordinance. We need the sacrament every week. It is the best way to realign our life with God's will and really repent. I love the power the atonement has in our lives. We can really leave behind our past sins and choose to follow Christ. It doesn't matter what we've done, there is no sin, no burden heavy enough that Christ can't carry. He's always there ready to help us, we just have to give him the backpack. We can't expect Christ to help us if we're not willing to hand over the heavy backpack. We have to trust one hundred percent in Him and give everything to Him. And that's when we are going to feel real relief.
We had another multi-zone conference because the 1st councilor of the area presidency of South America came to speak to us. It was an awesome conference all focused on our missionary purpose and the importance of the Spirit. Literally without the spirit we can't do anything as missionaries or anything as members and disciples of Christ. And to have the constant guide of the spirit we have to be clean and pure in heart. Which means to be continually repenting daily and taking the sacrament every week. I love so much how this time on earth is the time to act. It's the time to make good habits, set goals and accomplish them because now is the time to grow the most. I love the mission because we have the chance to grow, really grow every single day. And I always tell myself if there is something I want to learn or a Christlike attribute I want to develop, the time to do it is now in the mission. But in reality the time to develop or accomplish anything is in this life, right now. Every day is a new opportunity. Every day is a new day to be a little kinder, do a little more service, pray a little harder, read more intently, and so much more. And the desire to change a little everyday is awesome, but when we actually act on it, that's when we change and grow. I challenge you guys to think of a way you guys can become more like christ today, make a plan, and actually do it. Do it today. Now is the time to change.
And it's all possible thanks to Jesus Chrsit. I love him with all my heart. He makes the world so much brighter and full of love.

I love you guys and God does too!
