Week 40

This week I'm gonna hit 9 months!!

It's crazy that I'm already half way done! I've been so blessed to meet the people I've met and to have seen everything I've experienced! My mission to me is evidence of how much God loves us!! He really knows what he's doing and we should trust him with everything we've got!

Zone conference! My first zone conference with responsibilities haha. We had to give a little presentation for our zone and it was kinda nerve wracking but fun! I'm still learning how to help the missionaries feel excited to go out and work! But it really all comes down to why we are out here on missions. Why we chose to serve. And why we choose everyday for the next 1.5 or 2 years to get up and want to serve. The reason we are here is for love. Because Jesus loved us enough that he gave his life so that we can learn, grow, experience sadness and happiness, but not only that. He gave his live so we can learn to choose, learn to choose Him. And the whole point of being here is to return to live with our Heavenly Father. But return changed for the better. We are here on the earth to be tested. Now is the time to prepare to live in the presence of God. Time goes by quickly, but how we spend our short amount of time here determines how we will spend eternity in the next life. I think it's worth it to leave some insignificant worldly things behind to be able to live with God and our family in everlasting joy. I am so grateful for the life and example of our older brother Jesus Christ. We are so blessed to have the Bible and the Book of Mormon to learn more about Him and His role as our Savior. And every day is a new day to choose Him! I invite you all today, find a way to better choose Jesus. And like the prophet says, if you do that you will have more joy in this life and have the strength and the heavenly power to help you. I know that God is our loving heavenly father and he gave us his son so that one day we can come back to our Heavenly home, spotless with indescribable joy. I love my Savior and I am eternally grateful for him. May we be his instruments here on the earth.

I love you and God does too!!
