Week 50
This week we found a family that is super awesome! We introduced the Book of Mormon to them and they were so surprised because they had never heard about this book, and didn't know that Jesus came to the Americas. And so they were in shock a little bit. It's honestly so powerful serving a mission here because the people seem to connect so much more with the Book of Mormon because it's their “home land”. But I love seeing the people so excited to read it and get to know it! And when I get to read it everyday I just know how true it is. I will never be able to deny the feeling I get every time I read it.
This week I started “preaching” in the buses when we have to take them. And it's honestly so fun. The people either look at me like I'm crazy, look at me with interest, or don't look at me at all. And it's a good way to see if someone is interested in hearing more because they just show themselves. And it's fun cuz it gives me a little bit of adrenaline. I really want to take advantage of every second I have out here to talk to as many people as I can and do all the things I wouldn't normally do. There isn't time to feel embarrassed, you just got to act in the moment. And I love it!!
This week I saw a picture of Luis, a convert when I was in Limache at the beginning of my mission, and it was a picture of another guys Baptism. But it was Luis that was baptising his friend! It's so cool to see people that learn about the restored gospel and start to live it! I'm so grateful to be a part of this right now! It fills me with joy!
But I am so grateful to be where I am right now. And I feel like that’s the way we should feel in every moment no matter where we are because this time here on the earth is only temporary and it’s so short. And we are here to prepare ourselves for after. And every day is a new day to try again, try to be better, try to trust more. I am grateful for a loving Savior who accepts me every time I mess up or fall down. He will always be there to lift me up, sustain me, and keep walking beside me. And it’s the same for you guys too. He will always be there in every moment because he loves you more than you can imagine. We just need to trust in his love. I hope that this week we can see more of his love in the little things, and trust his love in the big things.

I love you and God does too!!
