Week 52
This week was probably one of the best weeks on my mission!!
Today we went to a small beach far away and we went with a member and his little kid. We played spike ball and volleyball and this member works at a bakery and he made us all homemade bread and we took food to make sandwiches! We played forever and it was so fun. On the car ride there the little kid barfed up on me so we had to spot and I had to change my clothes. It was pretty nasty but worth it!! One of the funnest pdays of my life!

We had a lesson with our friend Yostin and he told us that he wanted to get baptized on Saturday and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost on Sunday and so in a few days we made it happen! He's such an example of faith and trust. He trusts so much in God's plan. So many things are happening in his life, he's got so many challenges but he understands what he would be doing when he got baptized. He really showed God that he is willing to do everything to follow him. It was awesome because his girlfriend traveled from northern Chile to support him! And he was so happy this weekend! He told us that on Sunday after he was confirmed and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, he said that he had a really cool spiritual experience. He felt like he had known everyone since forever. Like everyone felt like family. And it's awesome to think that in the premortal life maybe I knew him or the other people from the ward knew him and right now it all came together. I don't know if that makes much sense, but it was awesome to see him so happy. Our goal now is that he can receive the priesthood next week and his temple recommend. And maybe we can plan a trip to the temple! But seeing his growth spiritually and his confidence grow in Jesus has been super inspiring to me. Before he was just another person that we talked to in the street, but seeing him dressed in white and participating in Church has change the way I see everyone in the street. It was one month between the time we talked to him in the street and his baptism. In one month someone's life can change so quickly. Thinking about that helps me a lot to talk to literally everyone.
This week maybe wasn't one of the best weeks numbers wise, but I really felt a lot of joy. I know this is the lords work and we are just His hands and have the privilege to see everything happen. I don't have much time to write this but I love my Savior and I know he lives. I am eternal grateful that I have been raised with this knowledge and now is my opportunity to let other people know it, feel it, and most importantly live it. I love my Savior infinitely and I want to give my whole life to him because my life is more happy and full of joy!
I love you and the Savior does too!!
