Week 55

Transfers! I'm heading to Viña! I'm super excited to get to know the city! I'll be in a trio too! I'm super excited for all the new adventures I'll have.

This week was an awesome week. I really felt a lot of love and gratitude for all the members. I've really loved working beside them and getting to know them. Every single one of them have a crazy story of their conversion or the trials they've been through. I'm so grateful for the example I have from them! This week I've also felt really grateful for my companion. It feels like we've been best friends for our entire life and I'm sad to leave, but I know I'll take a flight to Spain one day. She's really shown me how to have fun and work hard. I am very grateful for the time I had at Quillota. I almost don't want to leave, I've gotten to love this area, these people, this ward, and it's sad to leave. But I'm super excited to experience new things and get to know more people! This week I felt like every person I met or got to know in the street I got to see them a little bit through God's eyes. I really tried to try to listen and understand them and help them. And I felt like I could really see them for who they are. It's such a blessing to be a missionary!

This week we had a Family History activity in the church. And it was fun to listen to stories of people's ancestors. And I felt like right then it hit me how grateful I was for all of my ancestors. All of them made decisions that led them to the places they went, the things that they believed, and the things that they did. And because of them and their decisions, I have been blessed with the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful to have had grandparents and great grandparents who were valiant and kept going. I'm excited to get to know my ancestors better. And especially to be able to give them a hug and be with them after this life. God's perfect plan really is perfect. I am so grateful that right now we are in the testing stage of our life. Right now we get to experiment and fail and win and most importantly try. God has given us the chance every day to choose a little bit better and try a little bit harder. Let's choose to be on Jesus’s team and play our hardest. We are going to trip and fall or maybe miss the goal, but we are guaranteed to win in the end. And as we continue choosing to play, and trying to get better, we are guaranteed to improve until we never fall down and never miss a goal. And it's something magical knowing that through Jesus Christ we can become perfected. Or in other words, complete. He completes us. Right now we are not complete, but with every covenant we make, decision we make, prayer that we say, we can slowly become complete through Jesus Christ.

I love my Savior! And he loves you!
