Week 72

 This week was awesome! One of the bests! We really trusted in the spirit the entire week and let us guide us to the people that were waiting for us! We saw so many miracles! When we hit an intersection we would stop and listen to the spirit to see if we should go right, left, or straight. And every time we made a decision we found someone that was just waiting for us! This week my testimony grew so much about how much the spirit constantly guides us! 

For example on Saturday we felt like we needed to walk down a specific street even though the street was empty and when we turned the corner, we found a young lady who we talked with. And when we shared with her about the church and about Jesus Christ and his infinite love, tears welled up in her eyes and she said that she would love to come! And on Sunday she came! I could just feel that she has such a sweet and tender spirit! And on Sunday we shared with her about the Book of Mormon and how we can feel Jesus’ love every time we read it, and again tears swelled up in her eyes. I am so grateful that we have the truth and the fullness of it! 

We also had another awesome experience with someone we met in the street. She stopped us and asked us if we were Mormons and we obviously explained that yes, but that's not the name of the church. And then she asked some more questions that led to a full depth explanation of the Plan of Salvation and everything made so much sense to her! And we told her about the Book of Mormon and how it has all the truth that was lost from the Bible, and she was really interested in reading it!! I have so many stories from this past week!! We were just constantly in the right places at the right time and we talked to the right people! At the end of the hour conversation with this lady on the side of the street she told us that she was going to walk down a different street, but she just had a thought that she should take a different path and she ran into us! I am so grateful that we can be tools in the Lord's hands! 
It's crazy to me that my mission is coming to an end and this will be my last week, but I know I will have so much ahead of me! Everything I am learning here will help me when I get back and I have a "normal" life. I know I will need to rely constantly on the Spirit to guide me and trust that God has a better plan for me. I am so grateful that we know why we are here, what our goal is, and how to achieve it! God has given us a perfect formula so that we can become perfect in His son Jesus Christ! His gospel is the only way that we can fulfill our purpose here on the earth! This life is just a preparatory state! It will end, but it's worth it to give everything we can because we will be given the best reward! Eternal life with our families and with God and Jesus Christ! This life is hard! Everyone has their own hard life, but as we come unto Christ he lifts our burdens so that we can help other people come to Christ to have their burdens lifted! If you feel like your burdens are too heavy, learn more of Jesus Christ. Start acting in faith to start living the gospel. And your burdens will be lighted. There is hope and help! Always!! Now, if you already feel the supporting power of the Savior in your life, I invite you to think about someone who you can help to get to know the Savior better! So they can also have the lifting and healing power of Christ in their lives! I know that Christ loves all of us! He is always waiting for us!!

 This week we had a zone conference and it was truly amazing. I realized that people want and need this Gospel. If they can understand what it means to be baptized, there won´t be a single person who wouldn´t want to be baptized. It just depends if they can truly understand the doctrine. Understand that when we are baptized, the door to return back to Godś presence opens. The only way to start to access Godś power is through baptism. If the people can understand that the first step to living with their families for the eternities is by being baptized, they wouldn't have to fear it.  This week we got to put this into practice. Week 53

  This week was super eye opening. I learned so much about all aspects of life. First of all on Tuesday we left with Sister Trythall, the mission president’s wife. And it was so fun to see our area from a different perspective and to hear her testimony and feel her spirit. This week I felt super grateful for every little thing I’ve lived through. I’m super grateful for this time I have to be super focused in changing myself and helping others to change.  I also had some opportunities to have deep conversations this week with a few different people. The first one I had was with my companion. We talked about how sometimes we feel like we don’t feel the spirit as strongly or as drastic of a difference and the truth is that we are so connected spiritually that I realized it's normal. It's normal that people in the street feel the spirit strongly and they share the hard things they’ve gone through or what they’re going through right now after talking to them for 3 minutes. Week 73

  My last week in Chile! The best week ever! This week I just soaked up everything! Every lesson, every street contact. especially Sunday. It was a super sweet and spiritual Sunday! I got to give my last testimony and wow it was hard for me, but I just felt so much love looking at all the people I love and have served with for so long. I am sad to leave but excited for the next part of my life!  Some highlights from this week! Ignacio got baptized and confirmed! The baptismal meeting was so spiritual and Ignacio shared his testimony at the end and he started crying! Afterward he said that the spirit was so strong during the whole entire baptismal service and it all exceeded his expectations! That is a lot coming from him because he is a very intelligent, calculated person, so the fact that the spirit was stronger and hit him harder than he thought was really special!
